ABOUT US

The African Organization for Common Ground is a legacy of the international organization Search For Common Ground (Search), which closed its programs in Morocco due to a shift in its global strategy. AOCG is committed to continuing the mission of Search in Morocco using the same approaches and strategies.
Since 2001, the organization has worked in Morocco with Moroccan society to transform the way people and institutions deal with conflict and violence. Carried out in partnership with state institutions and civil society, our projects have helped to institutionalize mediation in Morocco and have obtained international recognition.
We use classic techniques of conflict resolution and transformation, such as mediation, facilitation and negotiation, but also innovative techniques such as sport, artistic expression or the use of multimedia to generate mutually beneficial cooperative relationships between the different parties involved in conflicts.
